Club Rules

  1. Membership Fees: The committee sets an annual subscription fee for membership. Simple as that!

  2. Joining the Club: Want to join? Great! New members are welcomed at the discretion of the committee.

  3. Making Decisions: We try to make decisions by consensus, but if needed, we go with a simple majority vote. Easy and fair.

  4. Health & Safety First: If you have any medical condition or are on medication that might affect your ability to hike safely, please consult your doctor and let the hike leader know before hitting the trails.

  5. Hike Schedule: We do our best to share our hike plans in advance so everyone can get ready.

  6. Hike Leader: Every hike has a leader. If the designated leader can’t make it, the group will pick one before starting.

  7. Safety First, Always: The leader has the authority to change the hike route if needed for safety or other reasons. Trust them—they’ve got your back!

  8. Stay with the Group: If you decide to leave the group on your own, just know that you’re officially off the hike. Stay safe out there!

  9. Dress for Success: Proper footwear and clothing are a must for every hike. The leader can ask anyone who isn’t properly equipped to sit this one out.

  10. Be Kind: Treat everyone with respect and courtesy during club activities. We’re all here to have a good time.

  11. Carpooling: If you can, share a ride. It’s better for the environment and reduces congestion at the trailhead. A small fee for carpooling is encouraged.

  12. Pets Welcome: Your furry friends are welcome on our hikes! Just make sure you’re fully responsible for their behavior.

  13. Cancellation Policy: Sometimes life happens, and we get it. If you need to cancel your participation in a hike, please let us know as soon as possible. More information about this in the FAQ site.

  14. Meetings: We keep our meetings short and sweet—starting on time and aiming to wrap up in under an hour.

  15. Photography and Videography: Please be aware that during our events, photographs and videos will be taken to document and promote our club's activities. By participating, you consent to the use of these images and recordings in our promotional materials, social media, and on our website. If you have any concerns or prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please inform us beforehand.
